- 1-1/4 cups granulated sugar ( 250 grams )
- 1 tablespoon baking powder ( 15 grams / 15 ml )
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ( 2 grams / 2.5 ml )
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil ( 100 grams / 125 ml )
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar ( 3 grams / 2.5 ml )
- 3/4 cup milk ( 185 grams )
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ( 5 grams / 5 ml )
- 6 large egg yolks
- 7 large egg whites
