  1. Into a large bowl, add in your soft butter and mix it for a few moments until it is well creamed
  2. Sift in the powdered sugar, all in one shot.
  3. With your hand mixer, mix the powdered sugar and butter until they are completely mixed
  4. Add in your vanilla and whipping cream, and mix until well mixed. You may then increase your mixer speed to high and really whip well to incorporate a lot of air into the frosting. This will make it light and fluffy.
  5. Your frosting is ready ! If you wish your frosting to be more firm, you may put the frosting into the fridge for 15 minutes and whip again, and it will be much more firm. If you wish it to be even firmer, you may add additional icing sugar to it to obtain your level of more firmness.
