Thanks for this recipe. I tried this with 23cm and double the ingredients and I got most light and spongy cake . This is super without banking powder, full cake got over in few mins . This is my first try in baking cake and with success. But in 30mins 180 c ,I got dark layer on cake and lightly went back for 1cm. What is the mistake? Temperature? I did hand whisking , about 30mins. Hardwork and right recipe and right output.Thanks.

This is my first try in baking cake and with success. But in 30mins 180 c ,I got dark layer on cake. And the cake rised well above the pan level after cooling it went flat to 0.5cm. But i had soft cake. Thats surprising Thank you. But What is the mistake i have done? Temperature? I don’t have electric whisk, so I did hand whisking , about 30mins. Hardwork and right recipe and right output.Thanks for easy and nice recipe..
